Handmade beechwood vegetable cleaning brush by Redecker

This is a handmade vegetable cleaning brush. The handle is untreated beechwood, the bristles union fibres with one end of the brush tampico fibre, extra strong for difficult to clean remains. It will last years, feel beautiful and not harm our planet for thousands of years when it is cast away. Why should everyday objects be ugly and 'throwaway', putting more tons of unwanted plastic into our environment? For years we have loved the handmade brushes by Redecker - and in our current times decided now was the right moment to introduce a selection to Nice Things.

THE MAKER

The first Redecker brushes were hand-made in 1935 and this is still a family business. Lots of things have changed since then.
