Ramsgate Marina by Steve McGuinness
Steve McGuinness is a contemporary landscape painter. He has been painting, exhibiting and living in Kent for the last 35 years. In 2012 he retired as Headteacher of a special school following 18 years in the post and in 2017 moved back to Ramsgate where he spent his formative years. His style of painting has developed over the years as new techniques and media have been explored. He mainly paints large colourful landscapes which explore light and colour in a linear form. His graphic skills underpin the compositions and provide the framework for his unique style of painting.
