Juliet Challis raku pottery figures
Potter Juliet Challis is based in Broadstairs, Kent. Working from a studio in her beautiful garden, she is constantly inspired with new ideas and especially by trying new techniques. Travels around the world brings new influences, from traditional art and other potters. She most often makes items with a functional focus, like strawberry bowls to drain the water from rinsing the lovely fresh fruit.
Juliet often uses raku firing for decorative pieces, like this couple of tall figures here. They are made as individual pieces, but could easily stand together.
One holds a child tenderly in front.
The figures stand approximately 32cm tall.
We have offered a price for buying as a pair, if you wish.
