Christmas hanging decoration 'Happy Santa', handmade in felt by Laura Dent

This is a handmade felt Christmas hanging decoration, of a jumping Santa Claus character, in a red suit and decorated with fur around his hat. It makes a great little Christmas gift and a special hanging decoration for a Christmas tree. Made in felt, it includes a sparkly belt and decorations, all sewn by the maker Laura Dent

The Santa hanger measures approximately 16cm plus the hanging loop, which is in cord. 

We have included pictures of the back and front of the piece. As each item is made, you may have a slight variation in the colour of flower, the decorative additions and each one is made specially and is therefore unique. 

THE MAKER

This is one of a series of lovingly made decorative felt animals and creatures by Ramsgate maker Laura Dent. She doesn't use glue, everything is sewn. She even makes holes in features such as the eyes or flowers, so they can be handsewn onto the decoration. She often uses glitter fabric in her work, like the gold belt, to make it a really magical item.
