'Two Moon' handmade geometric black and white clip earrings by Silky Moons

These contemporary styled earrings are handmade with upcycled silk fabric They are lightweight, made from up cycled board covered with silk fabric.. The silver circle is laser cut 0.8mm plywood handpainted in silver. Each of them are meticulously hand stitched and precisely finished. They have hypoallergenic stainless steel findings. The style is contemporary, smart, deceptively simple. The image of the earrings being worn is by Mike Morrison. 

The earrings are a clip fitting

The gold disc is 2cm across, the silk covered disc is 3cm across.

We were hugely impressed by designer maker Karolina and the precision and beautiful detail in her jewellery which is entirely handmade and sewn with the tiniest perfect stitching. She uses upcycled silk which has been gently hand washed in eco friendly detergent and ironed before sewing. 

THE MAKER: 

Karolina Binczyk was born and raised in Poland. After graduating as a interior designer she decided to join her friends and live in Scotland. She began to explore uses for beautiful fabrics, and Silky Moons began. ‘’Sustainability is a priority for me.
