'The Royal Harbour of Ramsgate' book celebrating 200 years of local history by Janet Munslow

This book about the Royal Harbour of Ramsgate was published to celebrate the 200th anniversary in 2021 of Ramsgate's harbour being bequeathed 'royal' status - it is the only harbour in the UK to have this honour. In September 1821 King George IV gave this harbour the title of Royal Harbour. The book is written by Janet Munsden and illustrated by Peter Garrard Askew, both Ramsgate residents. It has a huge collection of stories and information about the building of the harbour, the ships that have berthed there and the events that have happened throughout the 200 years of its history.
